Squeaky noise From Serpentine belt?

While filling coolant,the Coolant fell on Serpentine belt.

Yes its the cause of noise.


Getting coolant on the serpentine belt will cause a squealing noise. Most of the time, depending on the condition of the belt, the noise will eventually go away. If the belt had signs of "glazing" (excessively shiney on the flat part) or excessive cracks on the ribbed side, prior to the coolant getting on it, it may be necassary to replace the belt.

So drive for few additional miles and see if the noise goes away.If not then inspect the belt condition.
