D4 light flashing with Error OBD code P1753.
This Error code indicates issue with Solenoid.
DTC P1753: Problem in Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve A Circuit.
The solenoid needs to be tested.
First understand the Working procedure of Solenoid:-----
The torque converter clutch solenoid valve A switches the hydraulic circuit to engage/disengage the torque converter clutch.
Now When the torque converter clutch solenoid valve A is turned ON, hydraulic pressure gets applied to the torque converter clutch.
When the torque converter clutch solenoid valve A is turned OFF, hydraulic pressure to the torque converter clutch is interrupted.
All this procedure is controlled by powertrain control module (PCM)
The driver circuit has a diagnostic function that detects and outputs the state of a short or open circuit, and sends a return signal to the PCM. If the return signal during the PCM s command is not appropriate, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
To confirm this issue test the solenoid with meter.
Verify the solenoid is 12 to 25 ohms.
Check the Yellow wire from the solenoid back to terminal D1 of the Engine Control Module. If the wire harness and connections are good, unplug the ECM and power the solenoid through an amp meter and look for 1.2 to 0.4 amps of correct flow when the solenoid activates. Compare that circuit to terminal D7, the shift solenoid "A", they should both have the same current flow. If the circuit tests good and there is not a harness or a connection problem then look for the possibility of a faulty ECM .
It has to be tested by professional tech and replaced if required.
This details will help.
Thanks.
