1998 Mercury Sable: Dome Light will not Turn OFF?

Dome lights and Door lights not Turning Off.

Inspect Door Ajar Switch.

In most of Such cases this is usually a stuck door ajar switch.Try spraying wd40 in the door latch and than open and close the doors several times.This will usually free up a stuck switch.If this does not free up the switch than you will need to pull the door panels and find the stuck switch.It is usually one of the front doors.The switch is located on the bottom of the latch assembly.
