2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Faulty Power Window Switch?

Left Rear Power window not operating.All other windows work fine.

It can be issue with Power window motor or Switch.
There is a master switch on driver side which controls all the power window.If all other power windows operate fine,then master switch is fine.There is one switch to operate left rear power window on the left rear door panel.That switch has to be checked.
There are two wires Dark green and grey wires.There should be power at this wires.you should see +12V power on both Dark Green and Grey wires at the LR window switch connector when the master switch is not pressed. If you do not have power on the Dark Green wire, then you next step is to check the Dark Green wire for continuity between the LR window switch connector and the Driver door module/switch.
You should be aware that this wire changes color from Dark Green to Red/White at the driver door switch.

If the Switch checks out ok,then other possibility is weak power window motor/regulator.Try connecting another power window motor to this window and see if all works good.If yes then replace the motor.

The problem is faulty motor,faulty switch or it can be loose or shorted wires.

1997 GM Safari: Window will not close full?

The power window for drivers side will not close completely.It will stop 2 to 3 inch before.The power window operates fine.It goes up/down properly without any blockage,but will not close full.

Its the cause of weak motor.

The problem is typically Internal to the Window Motor & the Window Motor needs to be replaced
Follow the test procedure to confirm the issue with motor:------

Testing of the "2" wires at the Window Motor should be made for "Reverse" Ground - & Voltage +, prior to replacing

Use of a VOM is needed to test
The way it works:
Ignition On
With Power window Switch held in Up position
One wire will have 12 Volts +
One wire will have Ground -

And With Power window Switch held in Down position
The wire that had 12 Volts + is now Ground -
The wire that was Ground - is now 12 Volts +

If Voltage or Ground checks good at motor, replace motor.
If Voltage or Ground does not check good:
Check Switch Voltage & Ground.
Check for broken wires at Door / Kick Panel Boot.

There will be loose or short wire noticed.

2003 Ford Taurus: Power Window Not Operating ?

There are few possibilities that can cause the problem.

Read the working procedure of Power Window mentioned below:----

The one-touch down (OTD) power window function allows the driver door window glass to completely lower with one button press. The driver window control switch is hardwired to the generic electronic module (GEM) and door window regulator and motor. When the GEM senses a one-touch down request from the driver window control switch, the GEM supplies a ground to the OTD relay coil. The OTD relay then provides power to the driver window regulator motor, lowering the window. The OTD feature will function when the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACC position. The OTD feature also operates while the ignition is OFF and the accessory delay time-out period has not expired.
Power and ground are supplied for the driver front window operation by the GEM. All power and ground for passenger windows is supplied through the window control switches.

As per this details get the window switch and module inspected.
